Why Weather
Works offline
No signal? Weather shows the last forecast it saved and tells you how old it is. Places save on your device first and sync when you are back online.
Your places, private
The list of places you follow is end-to-end encrypted: the server only ever stores scrambled data. One Klyra account works in every Klyra app.
Your data stays yours
- Your password never leaves your device. It is turned into keys on your phone or in your browser.
- What Open-Meteo sees. To get a forecast, the app asks Open-Meteo for the weather at a place's coordinates, and for city names you search. Your account and your list are not sent to it.
- One recovery key. You get it when you register. Keep it safe: without your password or that key, nobody can restore your account, not even us.
